Are you looking for a challenging career at festivals, sporting events and concerts? Then the Event Security Officer training at GOB might be something for you. Before you can get started on the work floor, we will go through the theoretical subjects Event Security and Legal Frameworks with you and your fellow students. After successfully completing these subjects, you will have the opportunity to start working (paid) as an event security officer in training at various events throughout the Netherlands.
To complete your practical experience, you must work at a minimum of 10 different events. During these events, you will receive guidance and assessments from our experienced Practical Supervisors. The practical part is concluded with a practical exam. Upon successful completion, you will receive the SVPB Event Security Officer Diploma.
Do you want to continue studying after this training? Then you may be eligible for exemptions for various partial qualifications of the Security Guard 2 training.
To be eligible for this course, you must meet a number of requirements, including an MBO work and thinking level, decisiveness and good communication skills, a good knowledge of the Dutch language, good conduct (a police investigation is part of the application procedure), and the minimum age of 18 years (or that you will soon turn 18).
If you are aiming for a full-time job in the security sector, or other positions within the security domain such as at events, then you have come to the right place. We are recognized as an SSB training company and offer the practical component of the Security Officer2 training. Collaborations with various ROCs provide for the theoretical aspects of this training. Although a home study is possible, we would like to emphasize that this is a more challenging route. Once you have passed, or are in possession of the Security Officer2 certificate, there are also opportunities with us to grow to Coordinator3.
We notice an increase in the supply of combined Security/Coordinator programs at ROCs, but as a training company we do not share this vision. The Coordinator3 training focuses on drawing up security plans and work instructions. We believe that it is valuable to first gain work experience before starting this.
